Most industries are suffering in terms of job opportunities, but the nursing industry has many available positions for nurses. Therefore, now is a good time to get involved in nursing, and to choose a desirable location to live for your position, such as Florida.

If you accept a nursing job in Florida, you can join the FNA. The FNA stands for Florida Nurses Association and it represents all nursing positions, regardless of specialty or level. The FNA strives to meet goals such as high standards for nursing practice, promotion of educational advancement, and promotion of welfare for nurses. The association also acts as a resource for nurses and nursing students.

There are many different locations to choose from for a nursing job in Florida. You can work in a hospital, clinic, camp, nursing home, surgical center, or emergency medical center. You can also acquire one of many available positions, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, home health aides, and nursing assistants. If you desire part-time work and enjoy traveling, you may also want to consider a position as a camp or travel nurse.
