Choosing Bingo Balls

Believe it or not, bingo balls are quite an important issue to bingo players. You can get a wide variety of bingo balls sets, ranging from under $20 to around $100. Exceptionally, some sets of bingo balls cost around $200. Price is not the only way that bingo balls vary dramatically.

Some are just the same as regular ping pong balls, only usually brightly colored and with bold numbering. Others are made from wood, with deeply etched numbers to eliminate fading of numbers which can cause confusion. Some bingo balls sets are marked with a single number, and some have two or more numbers printed or etched onto them. Some kinds of balls, the ones like ping pong balls, have the numbers printed on the inside to avoid the likelihood of the number fading.

Bingo balls also vary in number, but a common number of bingo balls to a set is 75. As well as being numbered, sometimes bingo balls are coded with letters too, usually B - I - N - G - or O. Novelty bingo balls are available. How about satin novelty bingo balls? When choosing your balls you need to decide whether you're going to use a traditional style bingo cage or a blower unit. Obviously the ping pong style of balls are for use with a blower unit.

Whatever kind of bingo balls you decide is best for your operation, you need to get a matching bingo masterboard for displaying picked numbers. This is because although most bingo balls measure 1.5 inches in diameter, they can vary in size as well as material.
