Chapel Hill Real Estate
Durham RealtorsYou will choose among Durham realtors before you choose among properties to buy and make a home. You should put things in that order. There's no question that Durham realtors already know the greater town and county--Durham is, after all, both a city and a county--better than you do. It's their business to do so. Durham, like any metropolitan area, is complex. Not only is it home to the world-renowned Duke University, it is also home to two significant corporate parks. One, on its southeast, is the equally well-known Research Triangle Park. Another is the combination corporate, residential and country club community of Treyburn. Durham occupies nearly 300 square acres. Its neighborhoods date back to the early 19th century. To help the realtor you do find, you will of course want to get very specific about what you want in a house--how many rooms, whether sunlight from the east or west is important, whether golf comes before or after tennis, and whether you need to worry thing about schools for children. Public transportation will be a factor, as will access to the major highways. All are preferences, none are even potentially problematic, so ideal is this Triangle area. What You Don't Need in Durham RealtorsYou can discover for yourself the greater Piedmont area and the rest of the state. You've moved to Durham because it's so well situated relative to the Outer Banks to the east and the Smoky Mountains to the west. You will spend years savoring, exploring, and sharing the Triangle area amenities. Durham realtors are only indispensable when it comes to finding the place from which you'll do all that discovering. But you certainly can't do without their expertise then! ![]() Get all North Carolina Real Estate articles via
