Esthetician Products

by Sarah Provost

There's a quite astonishing array of esthetician products for sale on the internet, and not just to estheticians. How did you feel after your last spa treatment? Shall we say, oh, so blissed out that you could hardly stand upright? That's how it was for me, and I want that feeling often--more often than I can afford a visit to the spa.

You can't really replicate the total spa experience at home, but with the right esthetician products and some unhurried time to yourself, you can come close. First, collect everything you'll need so you don't have to break the mood and search for it later. Gather scented candles, your fluffiest towels, a cozy robe. Now, set out those lovely creams, lotions, cleansers and tonics you've collected.

Esthetician Products for Home Use

Your spa no doubt offers their line of products for sale, but you can do better if you buy them online at one of the many sites that sell esthetician products to the profession. You'll want a scrub, a mask, a toner and a moisturizer for a basic facial. Some sites will send you samples if you want to try a product you haven't used before.

Now, start by pouring very hot water into the sink, tent a towel over your head, and let the steam open up your pores. Follow with an exfoliating scrub, but be gentle--the steaming softens your skin, so you don't need to scrub hard to take off the debris. Next, choose a mask suited to your skin type and relax while it does its work. End with toner and moisturizer, and don't forget to allow time to admire your glowing skin in the mirror.
