Product Liability Lawyers

by Laurie Nichol

Product liability lawyers have the ability to include the manufacturer, the assembler, the wholesaler, and the retail store owner in any product liability claim. This is because under the law of product liability, all parties along the chain of manufacture of any damaged product can be held liable. Products are most often appliances, cars, food and drugs, but they have also stretched to gases, houses, and writings.

Product Liability Lawyers Assist Your Claim

Product liability lawyers base their claims on negligence, strict liability, or breach of warranty of fitness. In every court in America, you must prove that the product is faulty or defective in some way. These faults are usually design defects, manufacturer defects, and defects in marketing.

Strict liability is the general offense that product liability is considered to be. Product liability lawyers are responsible for finding the defendant liable for the defective product. It does not matter if the supplier or manufacturer exercised care. If the product is found to be defective, they will be held liable.

Finding a lawyer who knows everything about product liability can be easily done through the Internet. Most lawyers will have websites that tell you the kind of law that they practice and their area of expertise. This can make locating a lawyer that will help your case almost effortless.
