Gruppe M

Gruppe M is the name of the division of Bavarian Motor Works that creates the "M" editions of BMW cars. Starting with the M1 designed by Giugiaro in the late 1970s, the M division has created a line performance cars destined to become classics. My heart beats a little quicker whenever I see an M6 from the 1980s.

Some of the most famous "M cars" are the M6, M5, and of course the M3. The introduction of the E36 M3 marked a new level of perfection for the "sports sedan" that BMW first pioneered with the 1970s 2002.
