Strip Binding Systems

Strip binding systems are a very attractive and secure way to bind your documents. The binding style you will find here is book-like, but is made for letter size documents. This is perfect for all kinds of documents like booklets, reports, notebooks, presentations and surveys. Strip binding is quite inexpensive and very easy. There is no messy glue involved and no cutting or crimping.

With strip binding systems, your document is punched, generally in a four-hole format. Then, two strips are put on either side with connectors between them. In order to lock your document into place, the strips are snapped shut with a VeloBind tool. One of the greatest aspects of this kind of binding is that it is re-usable.

Let's say you have a weekly or monthly meeting and you have packets for everyone at each meeting. If your employees do not need to keep the packets for a long time, you can have them returned to you, unlock the binding, and use it again for the next round of meetings. This will save you a good deal of money. It's also nice to have this option because it means that you don't have to create a whole new book if you realize that you made a mistake with the pages.

Types of Strip Binding Systems

You can get systems that will punch and bind in all different capacities. Some of the most basic strip binding systems will punch 20 sheets at a time and have a binding capacity of 200 sheets. This can be done in a matter of moments. You can also use the same binding strips to hold as little as two sheets. As you get to the more advanced systems, you will be able to punch more sheets and bind thicker projects.
