Companies are in business to do business and make a profit, not to give things away. This is neither good nor bad. It is a simple fact of the marketplace. At the same time, you certainly want to get the most for your dollar. Companies compete to get your business. Deals are part of competition. You want to make the most of them.

America is a technologically savvy society. We're accustomed to keeping up with the latest developments. Up to a point, this is natural and fine. Often enough, however, we never use many of the features of the equipment we have. Special deals often offer a feature we don't necessarily want or need. Think about the equipment.
