Move For Free

by Gregg Ruais

People who live in Dallas and Houston can actually move for free. It's not a gimmick. This is an actual deal. Certain apartment locators offer free moving services as an incentive for people to use their service. Before using an apartment-finding company, make sure they offer this outstanding perk, which saves customers both money and labor.

Some companies move only certain pieces of furniture and appliances for free. Some will move one sofa for free but charge extra for each addition sofa. Others charge for washer and dryer units, bikes, extra televisions, and clothing. However, there are companies that will help you move for free with no exceptions.

How to Move for Free

Use the rental locator service that also offers free moving services to search an extensive database of apartment listings. After conducting thorough research and finding an apartment that fits into your budget and meets your standard of living, visit the apartment for an inspection. If it meets your criteria, apply for an apartment. Most landlords will run credit and background checks on applicants.

On the application and lease agreement, make sure to write the name of the apartment locator. This is essential in order to receive the free moving service. Keep a copy of the lease agreement and fax it to the company that will help you move for free. After your application has been approved, the moving company will call you to set up a time for your free move to occur.
