Depending on how severely you're addicted to the game, golf mailboxes might well be on your checklist. There are, it seems, two types of people in the world. Because the USPS does dictate a few parameters and specifications for mailboxes--primarily with mail delivery and postal carrier convenience in mind--there are two design approaches for custom mailboxes. One is to decorate the conventional rounded-top post-mount mailbox that stands at the end of your drive. Another is to build a USPS-approved container into some kind of superstructure, whether a column or post-mounted creation.
