Do you use ribbon awards at your conventions? If you do, you're not alone; ribbons are popular at meetings and conferences everywhere. You can use standard stock ribbon awards, or have your own ribbons customized.

How to Order Ribbon Awards

Most trophy shops will specify a minimum quantity of ribbons that you must order. However, you will definitely use all of them, so don't worry about ordering too many of them. These distributors often have an abundance of choices in standard ribbons, such as vice president, president, first place winner, or second place winner.

If you choose to have custom ribbon awards made, be aware that your order will take extra time to complete. In most instances, you can choose a style of ribbon, such as rosette, triple streamer, peaked, or stackable, then choose a color and pick from a selection of clip art or logos. Many shops also have custom fonts you can choose if you like a particular lettering style.

If your event centers around a popular cause, there are also awareness ribbons you can hand out to your participants. You can show your support for our military with yellow ribbons, or raise awareness for breast cancer with pink ribbons. These, too, can be customized, although they will have a larger minimum quantity requirement.
