Low Carb Foods - Carb Reduction Diets and Menus
Sugar Free CookiesWhen you can't stop the cravings, or you're looking for something to spice up a party, check out sugar free cookies. You can find them at all grocery stores. If you want a wider selection, try going to a healthy grocery store such as Trader Joe's, Wild Oats, or Whole Foods. With the healthier grocery stores, you are also likely to find cookies that are sweetened with natural fruit juices instead of unhealthy sugar substitutes. The Purpose of Sugar Free CookiesSugar free cookies can be a great way to end a nice meal. Sometimes you have a meal that is very salty or plain and it's just nice to put a little sweet taste in your mouth. Okay ladies, let's face it, it's also nice to have cookies around when we're feeling low or having an all-girl get together. However, being ladies, we are concerned about our weight. Well, now you can get the best of both worlds. When it comes to a little guilt-free sweet snack, sugar free cookies are a great way to go. You want to make sure, though, that you don't turn them into your meal. We've all done it at some time or another. We start to have a couple of cookies as a snack. They're really good so we eat a few more. The bag is just sitting there, open, right next to us. Next thing we know we're full on cookies. It is at this point we decide to skip the next meal figuring it will save us on calories. It's okay if you do this, say, every six months, although it's never recommended. However, if you find you are doing this once a month or once a week, you need a new course of action. Try getting cookies in small snack packs. You can also only buy one or two when you are out. Don't sabotage all your hard work just for a few measly cookies! ![]() Get all Low Carb articles via
