Samsung HDTVIf you're looking for a Samsung HDTV, you would be pleased to know that they launched an entire line of flat tube HDTVs with built-in HD tuners. The DynaFlat series is available in four screen sizes, all at reasonable prices. This new product line, which is compliant with the 2005 FCC guideline requiring all 25 inch or larger televisions to include over-the-air digital tuners, contains many affordable options, but if you are looking for something a little more extravagant, Samung offers a host of other options. If you are in a position to spend a little bit more money and want a larger screen, then a rear-projection Samsung HDTV might be of interest to you. With screens ranging from 42 inches to 52 inches, rear-projection televisions make the perfect addition to a home theater system for movie buffs. Unlike the DynaFlat series, rear projection televisions (for the time being at least) require the additional purchase of an HD receiver. DLP Technology in Samsung HDTVWhat has garnered much acclaim for Samsung are their DLP, or digital light processing, HDTVs. Rather than using three cathode ray tubes (CRTs) to project light, DLP televisions have a single light source, avoiding color convergence problems that are more common with rear projection televisions. For a moderately higher price, DLP televisions are also less bulky than CRT or rear-projection televisions. If space is an issue, this is an alternative worth considering. If you're ready to upgrade televisions or buy a new one, it is a good idea to at least research Samsung HDTV. Samsung offers a product to suit the budget and space constraints of most households. Whether with a luxurious plasma display that you can mount on a wall or a smaller television going into your entertainment center, Samsung televisions straddle the line between technology and art. ![]() Get all Home Theater articles via
