Tan Towels

I absolutely love Tan Towels. Tan Towels are a line of sunless tanning wet-wipes, manufactured by Sensational Skin. They were developed by an Aussie named Lori Braun, over the course of six years.

These Sensational Skin tanning towels work beautifully. I first heard about them from an old pal I ran into at a bachelorette party. She had a beautiful tan which I was completely jealous of, since I had decided to do the right thing, and stop baking my hide in the sun. I was pasty white, but at least I was safe, I told myself. You can imagine how shocked I was when Amanda told me that her tan was perfectly safe, as well, since she had achieved it with Sensational Skin Tan Towels.

What Makes Tan Towels Different

So, why do these towels work so much better than other self tanners? First of all, the active ingredient, Dihydroxyacetone (DHA) has been greatly refined in the last few years. Although DHA was first used as a self tanner in 1960, it was not perfected until quite recently. The result was ugly, orange streaks. Finally, those streaks are a thing of the past.

Another great thing about these towels is that they dry in seconds. Some other towels take ten minutes to dry. If you put on your clothes while the tanner is still wet, you can stain them, so a fast drying time is a real bonus. Finally, the towelette is just a whole lot easier to use than a spray or cream. The greater control helps create a more even tan.
