Diamond Stud Earrings
2 Carat Diamond Earrings2 carat diamond earrings are what you should buy if you are looking for slightly larger diamond earrings. Two carats, on the majority of earlobes, will appear obviously larger than average. This can be great for social events, dressing up jeans, a shirt and heels or other events of that nature. I would not, however, recommend wearing two carats for a day of fast food and playing in the park. When wearing 2 carat diamond earrings to work, consider your workplace. If you work in the corporate world, clothing retail or entertainment industry, you're probably fine. However, working at the food court in the mall, you might want to rethink the earrings. These are merely suggestions based on our society today and how people perceive certain things. You are always, of course, free to wear your earrings wherever you feel like. One or 2 Carat Diamond Earrings?Sometimes people get confused because when they look at 2 carat diamond earrings, they are actually looking at two earrings that are one carat apiece, thus adding to two carats. This is how earrings are sold. If you ask for half-carat earrings, you will be shown two earrings that are a quarter of a carat each. If you want bigger diamonds, but are on a budget, it's okay if you go ahead and get some that are slightly lower in color quality. Color ranges from D through Z, with D being considered colorless and Z having definite yellow looks. If you set your diamond in platinum or white gold, you can go down to I or J and very few people will notice any difference. Setting your diamond in gold allows you to go slightly lower in color grade. Yellow gold makes yellow diamonds appear colorless. ![]() Get all Diamonds articles via
