Queen Creek, Arizona Real Estate

Written by Nicholas Kamuda

Queen Creek Arizona real estate is representative of a quickly disappearing type of land in Maricopa country: property in a truly small town with big growth. A few years ago, the population of Queen Creek could be pegged at fewer than 4,000 people. This year, based on the number of housing permits issued, the population is estimated to have eclipsed 8,000 residents.

Over 1500 new home permits were issued for Queen Creek Arizona real estate in 2003, and the median development cost for a new home was slightly over 200,000 dollars. Though the town is remote, this figure represents the building of more luxurious homes than in neighboring cities that are close to Phoenix. Though some planned communities and golf course communities have been sprouting up in Queen Creek, many of the new homes may be on independent plots owned by single families.
