Portable Bathrooms
Portable BathroomsPortable bathrooms are some of the most usable inventions I have ever seen. There is nothing more convenient, more necessary, or more appreciated than quality portable bathrooms. These nifty units have an incredible impact on your overall quality of life and your enjoyment of travel in America and abroad. It's hard to imagine life without portable bathrooms, and really, why would you want to? Rising Popularity of Portable BathroomsWhen people all across the country began to discover the convenience and cleanliness of portable bathrooms, it was only a matter of time before their popularity soared. When you think about how great these modules are and how they can make lives easier and more enjoyable, I'm surprised it took this long for them to grab so much attention. If we had only had these when I was a kid, I can only guess how much more pleasant my memories of family vacations would be today. Portable bathrooms have begun to pop up all across the country. You can see them on the highways, at rest stops, at sporting and concert venues, pretty much anywhere where people need to use the bathroom. That, when you think about it, is everywhere. There is not a single time or place I can think of that you wouldn't want portable bathrooms. Now they're even cleaner and more comfortable than ever, so life is looking good. I am sorry if I sound overly enthused, but it's hard for me not to talk about portable bathrooms without getting excited. As a life time sufferer of an overactive bladder syndrome, portable bathrooms have often been like a godsend to me. I can't even begin to guess how many times my pride and dignity has been saved by the opportune appearance of a portable bathroom on the horizon. However, let me not digress too much into personal testimonial, let's take a closer look at what these modules have to offer. The Nuts and Bolts of Portable BathroomsThe first thing you should know is that portable bathroom units are not all alike. They come in a wide range of designs and can accommodate many different situations and needs. There's the basic toilet trailer that is simply a mobile bathroom facility that can be pulled behind almost any truck or car. The set up and attachment of these units is quite easy too, which is a nice plus. At the other end of the spectrum you'll find deluxe units that really are quite amazing. They come with toilet as well as shower facilities and are so well designed, you'll feel like you're in a regular bathroom. The basic model portable bathroom is a unisex design. It has a single toilet and a sink. The basic model also comes in what you might call a "male" version, that is one with the same toilet and sink plus a urinal. Other models add to the basic toilet and sink design by including a shower for increased convenience. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, wheelchair accessible portable bathrooms ensure that everyone gets to enjoy the benefits these units have to offer. We live in a world of limited resources, and one where a balance must be maintained between consumption and disposal. That's why portable bathrooms are designed to be eco-friendly. Would you believe that these small, lightweight modules run off solar power and propane? It's amazing what science can do, even in the realm of mobile sanitation. Convenient for Business and Construction UseMore often than not, it will be businesses that need these services most. Portable sanitation devices are often found on construction sites where no permanent bathroom facilities yet exist. They're also often placed strategically in high traffic areas and do wonders in heavily touristed areas. With these situations in mind, most portable bathrooms are designed for easy maintenance and repair. Parts are uniform and thus interchangeable should something need to be replaced. Whatever it's intended for, these little miracles on wheels will take a lot of pressure out of life. ![]() Get all Portable Toilets articles via
