Trade Show Booth Designs

by Jessica Duquette

Trade show booth designs emulate the corporate image of an organization. By using existing colors, graphics and content of the company, an exhibit should preserve the uniformity provided by the current brand. A trade show booth is an extension of the company and should appear as such.

Replacing Graphic Panels

Most exhibit houses have a vast portfolio of trade show booth designs to choose from. On staff designers can customize new graphic panels for an existing or refurbished booth. This may be a cost-effective solution instead of replacing the whole exhibit.

Depending on the budget of the project, trade show booth designs can be complex, multi-tiered configurations, or a simple in-line 10 by 20 foot configuration. Both are effective in selling products and services, but the investment varies. Additionally, some industry events prohibit exhibits over a certain size, booths with more than one floor, and enforce strict height regulations.

Complex Trade Show Booth Designs

The more complex trade show booth configurations may require an elaborate installation and dismantle process. Most union labor is based on a per hour basis, at times reaching more than $60 per hour for each man involved. Before finalizing the details of the construction, factor in the costs associated with additional services.
