Siemens Control ValvesSiemens control valves are based on the original design and high quality products created by the former Landis & Gyr/Staefa Control System companies. Manufactured to be highly quiet and unobtrusive, Siemens valves should last years of reliable service. No matter what, these valves are designed to give the owner the right amount of heat or cooling energy every time they are adjusted. The Siemens control valves of today are called Acvatix control valves, and are built for main HVAC plants, rooms, zones, and refrigerant needs. For example, for HVAC plants, Siemens has created a line of proportional magnetic valves and actuators, seat valves and actuators with 5.5 mm strokes, and seat valves and actuators with 20/40 mm strokes. The actuators can be either motored or electro-hydraulic, while the valves come in either threaded or flanged models with two or three ports each. For rooms and zones, the Siemens control valves also come with either two or three ports each and include small valves and thermal actuators. This is also true for most of the radiator control valves. However, Siemens also offers many specialized radiator valves, including the differential pressure control valves and the pressure-compensated MiniCombi radiator valves. Replacing HVAC Siemens Control ValvesBecause new inventions and improvements in HVAC parts are constantly being introduced into the marketplace, it is quite challenging for a building owner to keep his investment on the cutting edge of control system technologies. To deal with this, Siemens valve products are easy to update and easy to replace within the existing system. Even small adjustments to overlying new technologies can lead to new building life cycles and more reliable heating and cooling control systems in general. ![]() Get all Heating & Cooling articles via
