Honeywell Temperature Control

by Sierra Rein

Honeywell temperature control systems are great alternatives to more expensive air conditioning and heating systems. While two or three independent systems can create a zone-like control environment, it is much more cost-effective to install one larger Honeywell unit to regulate each room or zone as necessary. Maintenance of one system is also easier and cheaper to repair than two or more zone systems should anything go wrong.

Plus, a zoned Honeywell temperature control system is the most effective for any home or office building. Each indoor room can be set to very specific temperatures to meet the unique needs of the inhabitant. Thermostats in each zone sense the temperature and humidity and adjust the air conditioning or heating flow to meet exact standards.

With a Honeywell temperature control system, relative comfort can be automatically managed depending on the room and time of day. This means that mom and dad can have their room chilly while their teenage son can have his warm and inviting. No more haggling over the temperature of the house in general when each room can be specifically set.

A Honeywell Temperature Control Program Can Save Money

Through a control system, temperatures can be timed to turn on or off depending on work schedules and holiday vacations. By setting specific times of the day to cool or heat a room, 25 to 30 percent of energy costs can be reduced. Unoccupied zones can be set back to regular temperatures and inhabited ones can be set to cooler, more comfortable ones.
