Honeywell Control

The Honeywell Control Systems Company is one of the top manufacturers of controls, switches and temperature sensors. The company has three basic groups of control products: building systems, home systems, and sensing and control firmware. These three groups make up Honeywell's major control systems line and are designed to improve the safety and comfort of productive and residential environments.

Building control systems are made specifically for the task of integrating access, heating, cooling, switches, sensors, ventilation and temperature applications. Home systems are meant for residential comfort products. Sensing firmware and control systems are designed for valve positioning applications and for the configuration of laser scanning systems.

All Honeywell Control distributors are rated by the SPRS system, otherwise known as the Supplier Performance Rating System. The SPRS rating consists of service responsibility, quality, productivity, and good payment terms. Any Honeywell product suppliers with the SPRS application are considered a critical link to the company's supply chain.

Recognitions of the Honeywell Control Line of Products

In August of 2000, the Honeywell Control Systems division became the first business in its particular sector to be certified to the OHSAS (Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series) 18001. It also achieved the ISO 14001, otherwise known as the international "Green" standard. These two endorsements further recognized Honeywell's dedication to environmentally safe products and safe and healthy employee work areas.
