Honeywell Heaters

Written by Sierra Rein

Honeywell heaters used to heat a large number of industrial, commercial and residential applications. Flexible and reliable, they can be used for airborne valves, personal rooms and medical electronics. They are available in a number of model styles, including flat, Molded-to-Shape, spiral-wrap, and transparent types.

The Honeywell heaters with standard designs are all UL, CSA and VDE approved. Honeywell also offers custom-designed heaters for individual customer application needs. These heaters can be used with Honeywell thermostats, sensors, fuses, thermistors and any number of other units to finally create fully operational heating systems.

More About the Types of Honeywell Heaters

Flat Honeywell heaters utilize plain or cylindrical surfaces and are best for medical electronics, food services and office automation applications. They can come available with variable watt densities and, unlike other heaters, are built with a number of different dielectric (non-conducting) materials. Transparent heaters are utilized in a cold environment and are great for refrigerators, surveillance cameras (especially those in outside locations), hand-held products, and liquid crystal applications.

Molded-to-Shape heaters are uniquely designed to conform to the specific assembly it is meant for and can maintain their lives at a longer rate due to their single and multi-layer configurations. Because of these factors, these heaters are great for HVAC, military, aircraft and industrial applications. Similarly, spiral-wrap heaters are meant for tougher industries, can be easily placed around pipes, and create an even distribution of heat across a large platform.
