Honeywell HVAC

by Sierra Rein

The Honeywell HVAC Company traces its roots back to the year 1885. Today, 100,000 people in at least 95 countries are employed to create Honeywell products. These employees are part of a large company that produces a vast array of Honeywell heating, ventilation and air conditioning units, systems, parts, and controlling processors.

Honeywell HVAC products come in either pneumatic or electronic models. Honeywell's pneumatic units include receiver controllers, thermostats and damper actuators. Those products that are electronic in nature include thermostats, sensors, valves an actuators.

Take Control of Your Honeywell HVAC System
Most Honeywell HVAC systems can be programed and timed with Honeywell thermostats. Some of the thermostat models include remote communication and serial adapters to a number of electric control panels. The higher-end quality control panels include LCD displays and touch-screen technologies.

Some HVAC systems by Honeywell can be integrated into a control system using a Honeywell card and compatible PC computer. The same data network that is used for other data processing applications can be applied to the Honeywell HVAC unit. If a number of PC hosting cards are networked together, different HVAC systems (in addition to Honeywell products) can become connected as well.
