Honeywell Zone ValvesWritten by Sierra Rein There is a large range of Honeywell zone valves out there for both domestic and industrial heating hot water systems. Most models have end switches for boiler and pump flow control applications. Some are designed specifically to be suited for lighter commercial systems as well. Motorized Honeywell zone valves provide quiet and dependable operation. The system's supply water is controlled by two-position, open and close valve settings. Just in case of a power failure, all valves have a manual operation override. Diverting zone valves operate with up to 10 psi of differential pressure. This type of Honeywell zone valves contains three ways of water flow and come with either spring return or mid-position valve opener/closers. One direction is meant for entering water, and the other two directions within the valve are meant for exiting water. Other Honeywell Zone Valve Accessories to PurchaseIn addition to the valves themselves, there are a number of other accessories that can accompany Honeywell zone valves. These include motors, replacement heads, and y-paks for smartfit systems. These can be purchased directly from the Honeywell Company itself, or through a number of individual distributors.
