Carrier Air Conditioning Filters

by Sierra Rein

Carrier air conditioning filters are designed to take most of the contaminants out of the air and to cycle fresh, cool, healthy breathing air back into the room. Particles as small as .01 microns are caught utilizing an electronic EAC air filtration system. With this system, even airborne particles that typically escape capture with other filters are trapped with the EAC magnetic filter.

This is good news for residents who have common or uncommon problems with smog, dust or outside allergens. It is also good for commercial environments, especially in laboratories and computer part manufacturing plants, where airborne particles can do damage to expensive equipment and tests. By placing Carrier air conditioning filters into the entire air cycling system, many health issues and expensive technical problems can be avoided over time.

Smart Carrier Air Conditioning Filters Let You Know

One of the great things about Carrier filters is that most are designed with an electronic gauge that warns the owner when the filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. No longer will inside pollutants gunk up the system and cause irreparable damage. A sensor within the unit will either cause a light on the outside conditioner to go on, or a message will be sent to the inside thermometer's LCD screen.

In addition to regular Carrier air conditioning filters, the company also offers a number of air cleaners specifically created to filter harmful chemicals, dust and pollen from the air. The EZ Flex filter, for example, can be fitted onto any heater or air conditioning unit to protect it from collecting bacteria, plant spores, mold and other contaminants. The filter can be easily taken out, cleaned off, and replaced in a matter of minutes.
