You finally found the right headshot photographer, got the pictures taken, reviewed the proofs, and now you're ready to print up your headshots. What's next? You need to find an affordable resource for photo duplication. This is a fairly straightforward process, which your photographer can talk you through in no time at all. In most cases professional headshot photographers work directly with duplication companies to take the guesswork out of the process.

One of the first things to consider when searching for a photo duplication company is price. If you live in a city with many resources, such as Los Angeles or New York, you can often find some great deals on duplication. It's a good idea to print up a large run of your headshots when you're trying to break into the business. My roommate once tried to spent a great deal of money working with one of the top headshot photographers in LA, and then decided to print only a small run of her headshots. She ended up paying more than if she just would have printed a larger run in the first place.

Photo duplication companies often provide touch-up services and border options for your photographs. In addition, you can request your name and the name of your agency to be printed on the photograph as well.
