Pet Beds

by Amy Hall

If you are really looking to pamper your dog or cat, you might want to look into pet beds and pet heating pads. The two often go hand-in-hand, especially in colder climates where the night gets very chilly or dip below freezing. Look for pet beds that are made out of 100 percent cotton fabric on the outside, and that are completely hypoallergenic on the inside.

In addition, the inside of the bed, known as the filler, should also be machine washable so you can get rid of stains and/or odors. It is typically best to air dry the fillers, or if you must throw them in the dryer, use the cool air cycle. The bed can be washed three times a month or more if you find it necessary.

Comfortable Pet Beds

Taking pet beds a step further, some companies have added heating pads and aromatherapy to the mix. Herbs and natural botanicals are often placed inside the filler, to help your dog or cat sleep better. The filler is typically made out of jasmine rice, and a blend of herbs such as lavender, chamomile, and rose that help promote sound sleep.

The heating pads cannot be washed or they will get ruined. If you want to pamper your dog or cat, unique pet beds are the way to show your love and affection. You can order these beds online through retailers that sell other aromatherapy gifts and accessories.
