European Train Vacations

by Liza Hartung

European train vacations are some of the most fun and memorable you will ever have. This doesn't mean you will be spending all of your time on a train. It means you will see as much of Europe as you possibly can. You will travel through this beautiful continent by train. Being on the train is as much a part of the trip as sightseeing and exploring towns and cities.

For European train vacations, I recommend that you get some sort of rail pass. You might want to get a Eurail pass. This will allow you to travel freely among several countries. A train pass works like this: you get a pass that is good for a certain number of days for a certain number of countries. Let's say you will be in Europe for two months. If you plan on traveling the entire time, get a pass that's good for two months for the countries you want to see.

Some people, however, may only plan to do a few days of travel during the two months. For those, you can get a pass that is good for 10, 12 or 15 days of travel, but doesn't expire for two months. When you buy passes like these, you save a large amount of money.

See All You Can with European Train Vacations

With European train vacations you could see the Tower of London, the Eiffel Tower, the countryside of Nimmes, the canals of Amsterdam and Venice and the Swiss Alps all in a matter of days. Can you imagine the memories and stories you would have after that trip?
