Green Bay Packers Tickets

by Charles Peacock

Green Bay Packers games have long been known as one of the toughest tickets in sports. There isn't much going on in Green Bay besides the Packers (with apologies to the residents there), so going to the game has become a real local ritual. If you're looking for Packers tickets you'd better look long and hard, because finding them could be harder than you think.

Think Brett Favre Is Tough? Try Getting Packers Tickets!

Legendary Lambeau Field has been sold out on a season ticket basis since 1960. That's right, 1960. For over 40 years, the Packers have been building a waiting list for their season tickets which now has thousands of names on it. Someone literally needs to die for you to move up on the list.

Fortunately, the Packers organization recognizes that non-season ticket holders want to see the games too, and they've set up a method that allows you to do so. The Packers' "StubHub" is an online resource that allows season ticket holders who can't make a certain game to sell their tickets to another fan at face value. These tickets go fast, however, and simply aren't available for many big games.

One last resource for Packers tickets is to go through a ticket broker. Brokers usually get tickets off season ticket holders, and will sell them to you at a markup. Since it's actually impossible to buy Packers tickets straight from the team, going through a broker may be your only way to see a Packers game in person.
