Super Bowl Tickets
New Orleans Saints TicketsMaybe it's because I spent too many frigid Sunday afternoons cheering on my Philadelphia Eagles, but I've always admired a team that plays in a Dome. The Louisiana Superdome is one of the NFL's great stadiums, and has played host to the Super Bowl on several occasions. I've actually always wondered if they named the place the Superdome in an attempt to get host Super Bowls, but whatever the reason, it worked. The Saints and their Saintly SuperdomeThe Superdome has been called "the crown jewel of the New Orleans skyline," and having been to the city I can't disagree. It's an imposing building that just screams football, and in addition to the Saints and the occasional Super Bowl, it also plays host to the annual college football Sugar Bowl. If you're a basketball fan, you'll also be pleased to know that the Superdome regularly hosts NCAA tournament games. While New Orleans has hosted the Super Bowl on several occasions. Saints fans have never been lucky enough to see their own team play in a championship game. The Saints haven't been without their stars--players like Archie Manning, Ricky Williams and the Great Dane Morten Andersen have all graced the dome's famous Astroturf. But despite regular playoff appearances, the Saints have so far been unable to make it all the way. Luckily for Saints fans, the team currently has a roster of coaches and players that will keep them competitive in a weak NFC West. Coach Jim Haslet brings sturdy discipline to the team and running back Deuce McAllister has more than made up for the departure of the troubled Ricky Williams. Aron Brooks is a great quarterback with a strong arm, and the Saints look poised to stay ahead of the pack for years to come. ![]() Get all Tickets articles via
