David Morehouse

Dr. David Morehouse, formerly a Major in the United States Army, was recruited for the CIA's experiments in remote viewing in 1987. He was involved in the program from 1987 to 1991. He has published books about the program and the remote viewing process. He lectures and teaches around the world.

Dr. Morehouse joined the Army in 1979 as a distinguished military cadet. He served in many positions during his tenure with the military and is regarded, by both his superiors and peers, as having had an exemplary career. Upon resigning his commission in 1995 he had given 18 years of service to his country, 18 of those years in command positions.

A third-generation Army officer, psychic phenomena were hardly in Dr. Morehouses's lexicon. While training soldiers in the Jordanian desert during the first Gulf War an accident that should have killed him, left him with disturbing visions instead. Apparently the content of these "disturbances" got the CIA interested in him and he was recruited to the remote viewing program then underway at the Stanford Research Institute in Palo Alto.

Eventually, Dr. Morehouse learned to make use of the facility he had been unexpectedly given and, after a crisis of conscience decided to resign his commission and go public. He uses the skills he has gained to work towards peace and well-being for others, as the remote viewing techniques can be used for many types of work, including finding missing persons, crime solving and viewing coordinates within the human body--a boon to medical personnel. This is in keeping with his general philosophy. While in the Army he published a notable work "Non-Lethal Weapon: War Without Death," which is still used as a textbook in the military. Dr. Morehouse teaches the protocols and skills of remote viewing as they were developed by the CIA's program.
