The Cubs should have few problems selling out Wrigley Field in the coming seasons. The addition of former Red Sox star Nomar Garciaparra as well as Greg Maddux, coupled with the return to form of fireballer Kerry Wood, virtually ensures that tickets will prove a hot commodity for several years. While that's great news for the Cubs' front office, it's less promising for fans who've grown accustomed to picking up four tickets an hour before game time.

It's worth keeping in mind that as the country's third most populous city, Chicago is home to wealthy business people, celebrities, and others who have the means to afford season tickets. You may not be able to find front-row seats for a family of four at Wrigley anytime soon, but with a little effort, you can score affordable tickets from reputable online brokers who carry a healthy inventory. There are only 39,558 seats at Wrigley, however, so the supply is nearly twice as low as it is at baseball's biggest parks.
