Vancouver Real Estate Market

Written by Amy Hall

The Vancouver real estate market is not unlike the market in other metropolitan areas around the United States. Big cities attract people for various reasons, the main one being job opportunities. However, Vancouver separates itself from the pack because it has so much more to offer than job opportunities and a booming real estate market.

Vancouver, which sits directly across the Columbia River from Portland, is a hotbed of activity. Not only do thousands of people work in the city of Vancouver, but many people reside there as well. Vancouver offers cultural diversity, outstanding dining, world-class shopping, art, and unbeatable outdoor recreation. There are lovely neighborhoods in and around the city that dance to the beat of their own drum.

For people who love natural beauty, Washington is a natural choice. With rivers, mountains, gorges, and even a volcano nearby, there is no shortage of natural sights to see. Most of these locations are within a half hour's drive from most places in the city, and the Pacific Ocean is only a couple of hours away as well.

The Vancouver Real Estate Market Is Growing Strong

As you can see, Vancouver has so much to offer, including both natural scenic beauty and the upbeat urban scene that few places in the United States can match. Jobs opportunities are growing, neighborhoods typically enjoy low crime levels, and the public schools are above average. It is no wonder why the Vancouver real estate market is growing at a steady clip.
