The HP Pavilion and Compaq Presario are the desktop series offered for home and home office use. The Pavilions range in price from approximately $400 to $890, while the Presarios range from $359 to $519. These prices do not include monitors. Pavilion notebooks range from $700 to $1,250, while Compaq's notebooks are $650 to $1,200. Their home site also offers refurbished computers in both desktop and notebook models.
