Sony Ericsson T610

by Stephanie Dula

The Sony Ericsson T610 was released in 2003 and remains a well priced phone considering its high level of connectivity and quality pre-installed software. The phone combines a few business application possibilities with some interesting entertainment features that make for a well rounded product. The T610 is a tri-band GSM network phone.

The Versatile T610

The connectivity of the T610 is enhanced with the phone's Bluetooth technology. This is good news for those looking for such advanced features for hands-free communication and synchronization between their phone and other Bluetooth compatible devices. As is the case with many Bluetooth devices, accessories are available that provide more freedom in taking advantage of all this phone has to offer. The T610 is also equipped with an Infrared port and RS232 cable connectivity.

The integrated camera is another strong point of the T610 and the phone's QuickShare software enables users to easily send photo files to PCs and compatible phones. While most handsets now come with an integrated camera like this one, it's the extra addition of QuickShare that makes the T610 unique. Additional free software can be downloaded to expand the possibilities for editing photos and creating multimedia messages.

The T610's screen is large compared to other phones of similar size, and boasts a high resolution as well. As is probably expected, the phone also supports Java downloads and has extensive options for personalization. The T610 is worth checking out for consumers in search of a diverse set of features combined with a user-friendly interface.
