Bellevue Washington Real Estate
Bellevue Washington Real EstateThe Seattle/Everett/Bellevue area is one of the most beautiful and pristine metropolitan areas in the United States. It offers spectacular views of Mt. Rainier as well as a mild climate that never gets too hot or too cold. The presence of some of the largest corporations in the country means that employment is high and there are many good jobs to be had. With everything the area has to offer, it is no surprise that so many businesses are thriving in the area and transferring more and more personnel to the region. Other people are drawn there by the natural beauty and the promise of a better quality of living in the Pacific Northwest. No matter what the impetus, it is certain that more people are coming to Seattle and its surrounding communities. The communities surrounding Seattle are many and diverse. Each city has its own style and personality. The cities of the Eastside, cities such as Renton, Redmond, and Issaquah are fast becoming the places to be around Puget Sound. Property values vary depending on the city, but everywhere there are many quality homes for sale to fit any budget or family size. Real Estate in the Eastside CommunitiesLet's take a look at the communities surrounding Seattle and the real estate market in each. We'll start with Renton because it is the city with the lowest median house value and the lowest median household income. The middle of the road home in Renton costs 39 percent less than the median home in Bellevue. Moving next to Issaquah, the median household income increases to almost $58,000. Houses in Issaquah are not quite as cheap as in Renton, but the median house value in Issaquah is still a very affordable $278,000. (All figures quoted are based on year 2000 census statistics.) Finally, Redmond is one of the most desirable of the Eastside towns. Median household income in Redmond is a very comfortable $66,735 and the median house value is slightly less than in Issaquah. In Redmond it is $269,400 and three bedroom houses are the most prevalent. Eastside Real Estate ServicesA good real estate agent is one of the most important things you'll need to help you buy or sell a home in the area. Surveys show that buyers and sellers who use agents are more satisfied with the experience and either sell their homes for more or buy one for less than those who go it alone. Realtors can help buyers develop a search strategy, find a neighborhood, locate financing, and close quickly. A real estate agent does more to add confidence and comfort to the buying process than virtually any other factor. Sellers also need the experience and assistance of a local agent. A good agent will keep sellers from committing common mistakes and assist them in preparing the house for presentation. Together, a seller and a realtor create an effective sales and marketing strategy to receive a good price on their Bellevue area real estate. Start by visiting a real estate website to learn more about the services available. ![]() Get all Washington Real Estate articles via
