Woodland Hills Real Estate
Hidden Hills RealtorsThe name Hidden Hills evokes images of quiet rolling hills and a community that you'd come upon only by accident. Hidden Hills certainly lives up to its name and gives residents plenty of elbowroom with a reasonable proximity to the big city. In the bucolic setting of Hidden Hills, you're very likely to see residents on horseback on one of the city's bridle trails and even some white picket fences. Hidden Hills is home to about 2,000 residents. There are about 560 households and 500 families that live in Hidden Hills. The ethnic makeup of Hidden Hills is 93.9 percent white, 6.7 percent Hispanic or Latino of any race, .64 percent African American and 2.13 percent Asian. Hidden Hills is part of the Las Virgenes Malibu Council of Governments, or LVMCOG. In addition to Hidden Hills, other member cities include Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Malibu and Westlake Village. These cities formed this council so that they might address regional issues and share important information with one another. One council member from each city forms the LVMCOG Board of Directors, which meets every other month. Governing Hidden HillsThe LVMCOG, or COG as it is known by locals, helps Hidden Hills work with the communities around it to establish better emergency and disaster assistance, improve and discuss transportation issues and help establish water quality. The COG helps each community make sure they are servicing their residents to the best of their abilities. Organizations like these let residents know that their lawmakers care about them and have the best interest of the residents at heart. ![]() Get all California Real Estate articles via
