College Class Rings

Graduating from college is a significant accomplishment that deserves to be heralded and commemorated. What better way to do that than to buy a class ring? Wearing a class ring is a way to let everyone see that you are proud of this achievement and of your alma mater.

Class rings are not only badges of honor; they can also be a conversation starter. When alumni wear their class rings, they can be easily identified by other alumni. Moreover, often people will notice a college class ring and inquire about the university and your experience.

Buying a College Class Ring

Most likely your college or university will offer some mechanism to buy a class ring. Usually you will have a couple different rings to choose from and that's it. The school has already chosen the bulk of the options and contracted with a company to mass produce these rings. That is all well and good if you like the design the school has chosen, but if not, you do have another option.

You can commission your own class ring to be made. Many vendors online will allow you to build your own ring specific to your university. You can choose from a number of different styles, stones, and metals. Usually you will pay the same price the school is charging or less. Because of some licensing issues, however, some vendors may not be able to manufacture rings for certain schools. Be sure to check this before you decide how you would like to proceed.
