Some engagement rings come with a matching wedding band. If you have a say in choosing your engagement ring, then you might want to consider getting a matching set.

Other women wear their engagement rings on their right hands and their wedding ring on their left hands. If this is the case, you needn't be so rigid about the design you choose. Of course, you will want to match the color of the metal so that you are not clashing jewelry, but it doesn't have to be a perfect match of design. This is a good option if your engagement ring is not exactly what you would have chosen for yourself, and you want to express your tastes in your wedding band.

Finally, some women forgo the engagement ring altogether and opt for a more ornate wedding band. Wedding bands can be as simple or as ornate as you desire. You could have a wedding band that has no diamonds, one with a few diamonds, or one with diamonds all around. It's entirely up to you. Of course, diamonds on a wedding band give it that extra flair.
