Florida RV Service

by Blaire Chandler-Wilcox

When searching among Florida RV dealerships, from whom you buy is often as important as what you buy. Recreational vehicles are big purchases, both literally and financially. Make sure you deal with someone you trust.

Advantages of Large and Small Service Dealerships

Large, multi-location dealerships have their advantages. They typically maintain consistent pricing codes from one lot to the next. Because they deal in volume, they can oftentimes offer lower prices.

On the other hand, smaller "mom & pop" operations have their own advantages. Service can be more personal and attentive. Communication can be more folksy. Because their fleets are smaller, they often know more specific details about each make and model, and are willing to spend much more time with potential buyers to go over the various differences. And, of course, it's always nice to support a small business, where you have greater importance as a customer.

Whichever type of Florida RV service you prefer, always make sure that they have been in business for at least five years. This says they know what they're doing, and they've got a proven track record. Check with the local Better Business Bureau too, or Chamber of Commerce, and inquire if there have been any unresolved complaints from previous consumers. A five minute phone call to consumer interest groups like these can prevent headaches down the road--literally.
