Olympus D575

by Seth Cotterell

Olympus has been making top quality cameras and accessories for a long time now. The company has earned a reputation as a leader in photography supplies and it is known for its attention to quality and customer service. Olympus consistently puts out one great camera after another and it has earned a loyal following of camera enthusiasts.

Olympus D575 Digital Camera and Video Recorder

The Olympus D575 is true to that reputation. It is just a really solid camera all around. It is ideal for first time digital camera owners and other novice users. It is extremely simple to operate and is one of the best point and shoot digital cameras I've seen. I don't think I've ever heard any complaints about the D575.

One thing that makes this camera so attractive to digital camera buyers is its reasonable price. Too often, digital cameras cost too much and don't deliver what they promise. Olympus cameras are affordable and always deliver. You can find a camera like the D575 from a good online vendor for just a few hundred dollars. This is a good price for what you're getting.

The D575 is a very nice 3.2 megapixel camera that has a 10 ten times combined zoom capability. It also has QuickTime features that allow you to record videos with sound. It is easy to switch between the camera's many distinct picture modes with its virtual dial making it one of the most user friendly cameras of its type. You can print photos from the camera's memory quickly and easily, and depending on your computer, you will most likely not have to install additional software.
