Vivitar 3610Though Vivitar is not as well known perhaps as Olympus or Fuji, it still produces some very interesting and quality digital cameras. Looking at less well known brands like this can often be a good way to save money on major purchases. The price tag on a Vivitar camera can be 10 to 20 percent less than a top brand name camera. A Great Deal on a Vivitar 3610 Digital CameraOne of Vivitar's best camera deals is the 3610 Vivicam. It is a great little camera and is one of the least expensive you can find anywhere. If you go to a reputable Internet camera seller, you can find it for even less. This is one of the few quality digital cameras you'll find for less than $150. You'll be getting a lot for that $150 price tag too. You will get a two megapixel camera with digital zoom for greater range. The 3610 has built in red eye reduction as well as an auto flash. All these features and more make this one of the easiest to operate digital cameras on the market today. Its light weight makes it a great travel camera too. The only potential drawback to this nifty camera is its small memory. It has only an 8 MB internal memory. You will want to search for upgrades so you can hold more pictures or you'll spend a lot of time hooked to your computer. On the plus side, it only requires AA batteries, so you'll never have to worry about the camera dying when you need it most, as can sometimes happen with Lithium ion battery powered cameras. ![]() Get all Cameras articles via
