High Definition LCD TV
Sharp Aquos LCD TVSharp's Aquos LCD TV offers versatility and convenience for high definition television customers. In addition to the standard features associated with HDTV-ready digital televisions, the Aquos comes equipped with an unmatched array of multimedia input/output options, as well as a built-in high quality audio system. As a result, this model is perfectly suited for a variety of uses, from home entertainment, to business, to education, to multimedia applications. Most HDTV-ready televisions are only equipped to display high definition signals, but not to process them. This means that the majority of HDTV-ready units require an additional high definition source in order to provide access to high definition broadcasting. This can be a cable or satellite receiver, or even a high definition tuner and antenna. However, the Sharp Aquos LCD TV comes already capable of displaying HDTV images with no additional components. Not only does this make for an easy installation, but also frees the unit to be conveniently moved between locations, as might be necessitated if it's being used for presentations in a business environment. Sharp Aquos LCD TV FeaturesThe Aquos features a 32-inch flat screen, and although it has a contrast ratio of 800:1, its built-in black-masking feature automatically maintains the picture quality, allowing it to present high quality video comparable to more expansive 1000:1 models. Its LCD screen is also capable of automatically adjusting in response to external light sources, allowing for maximum quality, even in brightly lit rooms. In addition to a variety of audio and video connections mounted on the side of the TV for easy access, the Aquos is also highly compatible with computers and multimedia digital formats. The Aquos features slots for six varieties of digital media, which allows you to display digital photography and video directly on the TV from your data card. The Aquos also boasts an interesting screen-capture feature, which allows you to save individual frames from the current video source as single pictures. The captured images can then be saved on one of the multimedia sources, such as a flash card. ![]() Get all Televisions articles via
