There are many advantages to riding a small bike that is not restricted by traditional transportation laws. First of all, you don't need a license to drive a moped or scooter in many states and countries. This definitely depends on the area in which you live, however, so it's important to check the local laws before you go out and buy yourself a moped or pocket bike.

Bikes with less than 50cc engines are also not required to be registered, or to carry a license plate. This means they're easy and cheap to drive, and you don't have to worry about them like you do a car or a normal motorcycle.
