Mini Chopper Bikes
Expensive ToysShopping for expensive toys? If you are, you've probably already figured out that old maxim: "Price alone does not a good toy make." The best toys are not only expensive, they're unique. As hard as it is to find unique toys these days, there's a recent addition to the market that might strike your fancy: the mini motorcycle. What are Mini Motorcycles?A few years back, Japanese motorcycle manufacturers began experimenting with miniaturizing their designs. The idea was picked up by their Italian counterparts, who began developing high performance engines designed specifically for small bikes. These engines were usually less than 50ccs in capacity so they didn't fall under normal motor vehicle regulations. But they were fast. In recent years, more and more companies have begun building mini bikes, or "pocket bikes" as they are often called. You can find models with gas or electric engines. Some are designed to look exactly like larger racing bike models, and some even look like miniature choppers. The great thing about these bikes is that they're so small and light, virtually anyone can ride them. Pocket bikes make great toys for the whole family. This is especially true if you have a large driveway or live in an area without a lot of car traffic. Since it's technically not legal to drive them on the street, make sure you have a place to ride your pocket bike before you go out and get one. ![]() Get all Motorcycles articles via
