Residual Income Models

There are many different ways of earning a residual income, in particular online. Depending on whether you are trying to create a program that ensures that your network marketing is seen by as many people as possible or whether you are more worried about your commission structure, there is a program for you. Some of the more common ways for e-businesses to increase their customer base are outlined below.

Increasing Residual Income

There are many ways to either increase your current listings or make money off of the old ones. Many years ago people realized that search engines were the key for customers to find your product. Almost no one explores beyond the first page of listed results on a given search engine, so anything beyond there can be considered out of view.

In this light there are a few different ways of increasing your website's exposure. SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) are both options. In SEO, details such as content and graphics are added to your site that increase its rankings in the organic listing. With SEM, you usually pay a fee to be part of the sponsored listings displayed prominently on the first page.

The end result of either of these programs is a greater residual income because more customers are able to find your site. Additional online income models include affiliate hosting, whereby a business will pay you to get customers to their site, plus receive a commission for the recruitment of others to do the same. There are many other models for the online world, but the important thing to remember is that you need exposure to make profits.
