Also, bridal sets are a popular option, with the wedding ring made to coordinate with the engagement ring.

Picking the Appropriate Ring

Since an engagement ring is essentially used to demonstrate how serious the person proposing is about getting married, as a result, the price of the ring that is ultimately purchased is heavily scrutinized. Most industry experts recommend that at least two to three months of salary be spent on the engagement ring. If the engagement is broken by the woman, it is generally expected that she return the ring, but if the man breaks it off, the ring it is typically left to the woman's discretion as to whether or not she want to return it.
