InStyle MagazineInStyle magazine covers the lifestyle habits of the famous, from the tips of their fabulously highlighted hair to the bottoms of their frightfully expensive Manolo's. Rather than focusing on dirt, InStyle concentrates instead on the glamorous shine of celebrities. As a result, famous folks are happy to share their closets, recipes, and insider beauty and fashion tips. Many celebrity magazines face the difficult task of getting celebrity cooperation in terms of interviews and exclusive photo-shoots. Many celebrities have earned the right of being cautious when it comes to their image. After all, the woods are full of stories about how famous people have been misquoted, had their words twisted, and were the victims of unflattering, unfair portraits. However, InStyle appears to have earned their trust. Despite the fact that InStyle does not offer celebrities copy or image approval prior to publication, many celebrities are happy to invite InStyle into their homes to attend their weddings and private parties. This is because InStyle doesn't focus on their disastrous marriages or sexual proclivities. InStyle, instead, concentrates on the goodies and the treats of celebrity: the delicate china, the glowing skin treatments, the impressive guest lists, and the preferred designers. InStyle debuted in June of 1994, with uber-celebrity Barbra Streisand on the cover. In just a little over a decade, InStyle now caters to nearly two million readers a month. It also publishes the eagerly awaited annual, InStyle Weddings. InStyle is another feather in the publishing cap of Time, Inc. ![]() Get all Magazines articles via
