Fat Burners

by Kimberly Clark

The majority of fat burners work by a process called thermogenesis, which is the process of burning fat by expending more calories. As a matter of fact, fat burning products are regularly referred to as thermogenics. Fat loss catalysts and metabolic enhancers are also some other names these products go by.

There are so many fat burners on the market now that it can be hard to determine which ones really work. Plus, with the scare associated with products that contained ephedrine, it is difficult to know which ones are safe to use. Essentially, an effective fact burner should safely be able to accomplish the following three things: burn stored fats for energy, break down and mobilize fat, and speed up the metabolic rate to inhibit fat cells from getting larger.

Natural Fat Burners

There are several fat burners on the market that are made from all-natural ingredients. In general, these substances are extracted from a type of fruit, plant, or herb. Guarana is just one such example of a natural fat burner.

Guarana is an herb that grows in the rainforests of Brazil and contains a constituent that acts very similarly to caffeine. In addition to behaving like a stimulant, guarana has the ability to break down fat cells that are in the bloodstream. Instead of storing the fat up, which leads to weight gain, this process allows the body to use the fat for energy. Synephrine, which is derived from the bitter orange, works in a similar fashion as a natural fat burner.
