A large percentage of the working public have jobs that require sitting behind a desk, all day. Work attire is often constricting and uncomfortable, and hours are generally much longer than the simple nine to five. Most people, at some point in their stressful days, will daydream about time away from work and about the activities that will fill those blissful, lazy days.

As a society, we take fewer vacation days than almost any other industrialized country around the world. Therefore, it is all the more important that the memories of each vacation carry us through the long stretches in between. If you are interested in ocean life and the idea of spending seven days on a boat appeals to you, there is a ready-made vacation opportunity that should not be overlooked--shark diving.

Shark diving expeditions are not for the faint at heart, but they can certainly have elements that are just as relaxing as any tropical beach vacation. Most companies have luxury, live-aboard yachts complete with private rooms and an onboard chef. In addition to having state-of-the-art equipment for shark diving, these boats are outfitted to make sure that all passengers are comfortable throughout their stay.

Each morning you will awake to the possibility of diving with the most powerful creature in the ocean. There will be times when you strap on your wetsuit and climb into the deep blue waters and there will be times when you will be nearly a foot away from the incredible jaws and teeth of a shark. However, there will also be times when you will be sipping a drink at sundown or allowing the gentle rocking of the ocean waves to lull you to sleep. The mixture of thrill and relaxation will leave you with memories that will certainly last until your next vacation--which may even be another shark dive!
